For senior leaders in health and disability
You care so much.
But somewhere along the way, you became the one holding it all together.
Somehow the fires keep starting, no matter how good you are at your job.
Are you the one solving the problems?
Answering the questions nobody else wants to? Absorbing the pressure that was never meant to sit with just you?
And when something keeps getting interrupted.. a team that won't settle, turnover that won't budge, a process that's quietly wearing everyone down, it's easy to start wondering where it went wrong...
So, I'm glad you're here, because that's exactly what we find out.. where it went wrong, but we never blame people, becasue I'll let you in on a little secret..
It's never the people, it's always the stuff that sits around them.
Just imagine....
You walk into work, and the fire that started last week hasn't quietly reignited itself while you weren't looking.
Your phone doesn't light up with an emergency before you've even had your coffee.
Your team handles the curveball themselves, without it landing straight back on your desk, again.
The person your service is there for gets what they actually need, the first time, not after you've personally chased it down for the third time.
You leave work on time. And your brain actually leaves with you.
That's not a fantasy. It's what happens once the fires stop starting in the first place.
But right now that probably feels a long way off
Right now, you're the one who notices first. The one holding it together while everyone else gets to switch off.
That gap, between where you are and where this could actually be, isn't something you'll think your way out of on your own at 11pm. It's not a mindset thing.
It's what the work actually reveals, once you trace it back far enough. And that's the journey I'd love to take you on.
Hey, I'm LA :)
Really glad you're here.
I've always been fascinated by people, what drives us, what shapes us, and why some things that should work on paper just never quite work in real life.
Growing up, my sister faced communication challenges. Watching the world around her, and sometimes watching the world get things wrong, taught me something I've never forgotten: people are so much more than their skills, roles, or titles. When something's not working for someone, the first question worth asking is what was built around them, not what's wrong with them.
That question has shaped my whole career.
With over 20 years in leadership roles across health and disability, I've sat inside services that looked fine on paper and felt like chaos day to day. I've been the leader everyone relied on to hold it together. I know that feeling from the inside.
Oh, and LA is short for Leith-Anne, but you can call me either.

I reached out to LA as I was a little lost with managing a new staff member. Working with LA, I was able to develop skills to problem solve, have increased confidence in management of staff members and my ability to communicate.

"I’ve never thought to invest in myself in this way before. It’s like a switch has gone off. I love that feeling of waking up and I'm excited about what I'm going to achieve for the day.
I have felt more empowered than I have in the last couple of years. I have this drive all of a sudden that I feel was just going along with the mundane. I love it! I feel like I've got my mojo back. The shift I think is having someone who has held me accountable, but given me some things to really think about deep down, which I have avoided."

"The coaching experience was enlightening. I've learned more about myself in coaching than I have in the last few years.
Without it I would have been exactly where I was. Just feeling the weight of the world and not really understanding that I’m putting it on myself. I haven't suddenly found less work, but now I have perspective. I was too busy being busy than actually understanding what was making me busy.
I feel lighter and it feels more manageable."

"I was frustrated as I am close to 60 and my health and wellbeing is even more important as I grow older.
She is good at identifying what makes you tick and pushing the right buttons. She helped me identify what my barriers are and how I can overcome these. Since starting the coaching I am on a positive path that is helping me to focus and manage my health and wellbeing in a way I haven’t been able to before."
